It all started again when...

my friend Justin posted about a photo challenge in November of 2015. It was simple. Every day for the month of November - photograph something that translates well into black and white - called #nocolorvember. As a child, I was fascinated by the idea of taking photographs for newspapers and photojournalism. This challenge called me back to that childhood desire and a year later I've learned a great deal about myself and where I am happiest in the world - behind the lens.

Three cameras and several hundred photos later and here we are. Justin renewed the call for #nocolorvember for 2016 and I've been participating with relish. Above you can see some of my work over the past year with more to come over the next few weeks as I prepare for a showing locally in February!

I currently shoot with a Fujifilm XT-2 which is my pride and joy.
